In 2023, Bellway Homes purchased all the share capital of Rosconn Staretgic Land (a land promoter). In 2025, Persimmon Homes bought Lone Star Land, a Warwickshire-based land promoter. Landowners should always be aware that a Land Promotion Agreement is different from a Land Option Agreement. Large Plc Housebuilders tend to only utilise Option Agreements, whereas Land Promoters use a Land Promotion Agreement.
